Ratekau (dpa / lno) - The 29-year-old woman who drove her car to a bungalow in Ratekau on Sunday is in the psychiatric ward.
A medical officer had her provisionally admitted to the closed ward of a hospital on Sunday, the police and the public prosecutor said.
The woman drove a car with a Danish license plate to a bungalow in Ratekau in the Ostholstein district on Sunday morning after police said she had previously been noticed by her driving style.
According to the police and the public prosecutor, the eleven-month-old child who was in the car was handed over to his father, who took it back to Denmark with him.
The 29-year-old has not yet been heard, the message said.
Almost three hours before the incident in Ratekau, the driver was reported by other road users as a wrong-way driver on Autobahn 1 in the direction of Fehmarn.
According to the police, an alcohol test and a rapid drug test were negative.
