Following the Government's announcement that the national recommendation on distance and distance education in upper secondary school expires on 1 April, many upper secondary schools in Östergötland had teaching in the school for their year three students.

Linköping's municipal high school trio now receives all their teaching in the school from today.

- They have had the longest period of distance education during their high school years and there is a very short time left until they will take the student, so we want to do everything we can so that they get as much close education as they can, says Åsa Ridne, head of high school and adult education Linköping.

Grades one and two alternate in school every other week and every other week continued at a distance.

- This decision applies this week and next, and then we will see what happens after that.

Decisions on how many students can receive local education are made in consultation with the infection control in Östergötland based on their assessment.

About a third of high school students now receive their distance learning, compared to the previous two thirds.

At Berzeliusskolan, the risk of the spread of infection does not increase, despite the fact that now after the Easter break there are twice as many students in the school.

Half of their local education has been placed at Linköping Concert & Congress.

All school students also eat their school lunch there.

At Katedralskolan, it works the same, except that their own premises are largely sufficient.

An earlier renovation of the ventilation required an extra building, and now the pavilion will remain as a teaching room.

Some of their students also eat their school lunch at Konsert & Kongress.
