Prime Minister Chung Sye-gyun said, "It is good to find a way and return it quickly," regarding Iranian funds that were frozen in South Korea due to US sanctions against Iran.



Prime Minister Chung, who is visiting Iran on a three-day, one-night schedule, held a meeting with the accompanying reporter at a Tehran lodge on the 12th local time. I said this.



He added, "I think it deserves our national interests as well," and added, "It has not been implemented properly due to various restrictions, so we need to work on it in the future."



After meetings with Iran's Chief Vice President Eshak Jahangiri yesterday, Prime Minister Chung pledged support for the restoration of Iran's nuclear agreement negotiations and emphasized strengthening cooperation to resolve the frozen funds.



Regarding the side support of Iran's nuclear agreement, he said, "It is good to actively exchange opinions with the countries of the nuclear agreement such as the United States and Germany, and to open up a position in Korea to contribute to the decision of the international community."



Regarding the failure to meet with President Hassan Rohany, he explained, "It is because of the comprehensive situation such as the Corona 19 situation in Iran."



Following Vice President Jahangiri yesterday, Jung met today with Parliament Chair Mohammad Bager Galibab and Ali Larijani, adviser to Iran's top leader.



At this meeting, Prime Minister Chung said, "It will be the first and last (overseas business trip)," and weighed on the observation that he will express his gratitude for the challenge of the presidency soon after returning home.
