Cologne (dpa) - Nazan Eckes (44), presenter of the magazine “Extra”, is back at RTL after almost four months off.
She had wanted to help her family with the care of her father, who had Alzheimer's disease, as the broadcaster wrote.
The Cologne woman was already announced in front of the camera for the broadcast on Monday evening.
«This time was very important to us as a family.
I thank everyone who gave me this break and stood by my side, "said Eckes according to RTL.
Her colleague Jana Azizi had moderated “Extra” since January 11th.
