Munich (dpa / lby) - From Monday, many shops in Bavaria will only go shopping with an appointment and with a negative corona test.

These new regulations apply in all regions where the 7-day incidence per 100,000 population is between 100 and 200.

Exceptions are shops for daily needs such as supermarkets, drug stores and opticians.

Customers are only allowed to enter all other shops if they have made an appointment and had themselves tested for the corona virus.

To do this, they can submit official proof of a test station.

In the case of a PCR test, it must be a maximum of 48 hours old; in the case of a rapid test, a maximum of 24 hours.

Another possibility is quick tests in front of or in the shop.

Retailers can offer these in front of their shop or in suitable rooms.

According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Health, trained personnel must take these reductions, and all other citizens must also be allowed to use the test option.

Another possibility are self-tests in front of or in the shop under the supervision of the operator.

According to the ministry, it is up to the retailers to decide whether they will make the test available to their customers or who will bring them with them.

The authorities are currently working on combining self-tests with digital evidence so that other shops can then also be entered.
