Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The LIT: potsdam literature festival runs live in front of an audience from June 1 to 6, despite the corona pandemic: as an open air in the backdrop of Potsdam's parks.

The organization lit: pots announced on Monday that it was possible to set up a program that could be experienced live, while strictly adhering to the hygiene and distance rules and supported by a modern audio system.

The motto of the festival is «Strong words.

Beautiful places".

It starts with the conference “Writing and Publishing in the Digital Age” on May 31st.

Among other things, a picnic and crime novel reading as well as discussions on current social issues are planned outdoors.

There is also a literary walk and a book festival.

The gardens of Potsdam villas, the Barberini Museum and the Kulturquartier Schiffbauergasse as well as the Babelsberg Park are available as locations.

From May 25 to June 11, around 30 events are also planned in schools in Brandenburg.

The festival program and the names of the guests will be announced on April 19, 2021.

Then advance ticket sales also start.
