In order to promote understanding of sexual minorities called LGBT, the Liberal Democratic Party's mission committee has put together a bill that stipulates the roles of the national and local governments, and has asked the opposition parties for their cooperation. Our policy is to submit it to the Diet.

The Liberal Democratic Party's "Special Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity", headed by former Minister of Defense Inada, is preparing for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, which advocates "diversity and harmony," and understands LGBT people. We have put together a bill to promote.

The bill aims to "realize a society that is tolerant of sexual orientation and diversity of gender identity," and requires the government to formulate basic policies, and then works with local governments to improve the consultation system and disseminate knowledge. Has been established.

Regarding LGBT, opposition parties such as the Constitutional Democratic Party are also jointly submitting a bill that requires the government to formulate a basic plan to eliminate discrimination.

For this reason, the Liberal Democratic Party's special mission committee asked for cooperation from the opposition party, such as discussing whether the contents common to both proposals could be reflected at the meeting of the bipartisan parliamentary federation held on the 13th. Our policy is to submit a bill to the Diet.
