Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Freelance artists living in North Rhine-Westphalia can apply again for a grant from the state in order to be able to continue working even in the hard Corona times.
The Ministry of Culture announced on Monday in Düsseldorf that there are 15,000 scholarships to be awarded as part of the “Let's go!” Program.
For a period of six months - from April to September - the artists will receive 6,000 euros.
A total of 90 million euros would be available for this.
Among other things, applicants must provide a brief description of their planned project.
The application deadline is May 31st.
In August 2020, a first round of scholarships was awarded to 14,500 artists for a total of 105 million euros.
"After the great response to the first round of applications, we are now continuing our scholarship program," said Minister of Culture Isabel Pfeiffer-Poensgen (non-party).
