Munich (AP) - Defending champion FC Bayern Munich is trying everything to get the ailing football professionals Leon Goretzka and Lucas Hernández ready for the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain.

The duo completed an individual program under supervision on the Monday before the final training of the German record champions on the club grounds in Munich in a snowstorm.

The TV pictures showed how coach Hansi Flick then spoke to the two players on the pitch.

Defender Hernández has been plagued by a painful bruised rib since the 3-2 draw in the quarter-final first leg.

Goretzka, who is so important in midfield, has muscular problems.

The people of Munich have to cope with a few failures on Tuesday (9 p.m. / Sky).

The failure of attackers Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry is particularly bitter, as Bayern have to score at least two goals to reach the semi-finals.

Flick and his team completed the final training before the flight to France when it was snowing in Munich instead of on site in the Prinzenpark.

This process is now normal for the German record champions in Corona times.
