Recently, the remains of an ancient city more than 3,000 years ago were unearthed in Luxor, a city in southern Egypt.

According to reports, the history of this ancient city can be traced back to the reign of Amenhotep III, and archaeologists say it is the "largest" ancient city found in Egypt.

The famous Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass said that the ancient city found near Luxor, where the legendary Valley of the Kings is located, is the "Lost Golden City."
