“At the end of April, we will start vaccinating the population of Capri, Ischia and Procida, as well as the Sorrento coast.

Large islands, including Sicily and Sardinia, are also asking for immunization, ”the minister said.

Until April 30 in Italy there are restrictions on the travel of citizens abroad.

Arriving from the EU countries will have a 5-day quarantine and PCR testing for coronavirus, tourists from most countries outside the EU will need to observe 15 days of isolation and be tested for COVID-19.

Tourist visas to Italy in Russia have not yet been issued.

Earlier, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi announced his readiness at the national level to make a decision on the use of the Russian drug "Sputnik V" if it is not approved by the EMA.
