Paderborn (dpa / lnw) - A 72-year-old woman was seriously injured in a handbag robbery on Sunday afternoon in Paderborn.
Among other things, she suffered a broken shoulder.
Witnesses helped the woman and pursued the three suspects, the police reported on Monday.
Thanks to her good description of the perpetrator, the alleged robbers were arrested.
The 21-year-old main suspect should be brought before the judge on Monday.
He is said to have dragged the woman several meters across the pavement because she did not let go of her bag at first.
On the run, however, the suspect dropped the bag, according to the police.
It has already been returned to the woman.
