"According to the updated information received by the embassy staff on the spot from representatives of the gendarmerie and travel company, five Russian tourists injured in an accident this morning on the Konya-Aksaray highway, asked for medical help," the message on Facebook said.

It is specified that three victims were hospitalized "with bruises and fractures of varying severity."

"The rest of the Russian tourists are in one of the hotels in Konya, from where they will go to hotels at the place of rest, as soon as the procedures to clarify the circumstances of the accident are completed, and the weather conditions allow," the embassy added.

On the morning of April 10, a bus with a group of 32 Russian tourists drove into a ditch and overturned.

As a result of the accident, one Russian woman died, the injured were taken to the nearest hospitals.

Russian diplomats went to the scene, the embassy and the consulate general in Antalya are in contact with the local authorities.
