Volkach (dpa / lby) - After the fire in a music bar in Lower Franconia, the investigators assume arson.
A suspect was provisionally arrested in Italy on Saturday, the police said on Sunday.
"The man is now waiting to be extradited to Germany," it said.
The 56-year-old is suspected of having set a fire in the pub in Volkach (Kitzingen district) on Friday night and then left for Italy.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
The police are still looking for witnesses.
