Lingen (AP) - SC Magdeburg has returned to the road to success after losing to Flensburg in the handball Bundesliga.

The HSG Nordhorn-Lingen achieved a 33:26 (16:11) success on Sunday, which concealed the poor performance.

The SCM's best thrower was Omar Magnusson with twelve goals, Georg Pöhle was the most successful for the HSG with seven goals.

Magdeburg went in the front with five goals in the first quarter of an hour, but then the teams were at eye level, so that five goals remained.

The second half started hectically, which Nordhorn took advantage of (17: 14/36.).

SCM coach Bennet Wiegert demanded more consistency in the attacking game in a break, but Magdeburg was now lacking the penetration power and Nordhorn made the connection (18: 17/42.).

Until then, Magdeburg missed its strengths almost completely, only in the last quarter of an hour did the Elbestädter throw out the comfortable victory.
