Melle (dpa / lni) - Opponents of the Corona measures demonstrated in Melle with a car parade under the motto "Car parade - Free travel for fundamental rights".

There were also violations of the Infection Protection Act, as the police announced on Sunday.

In total, around 100 cars with around 300 occupants gathered on Saturday evening.

Around 100 participants had been registered by the organizer in advance.

Before the start of the journey, participants reportedly left their car and violated the mask requirement and distance rules.

Even while driving, rules were not observed, it said.

The participants in the demonstration also violated the requirements of not using horn and hazard lights permanently.

Altogether there were around 100 verbal warnings, and the personal details of 10 demonstrators had been recorded.
