Hanover (dpa / lni) - The Greens and the FDP in the state parliament have criticized Prime Minister Stephan Weil (SDP) for his course in the corona pandemic.

The Prime Minister changes his stance and view of the pandemic every week, said the FDP parliamentary group leader in the state parliament, Stefan Birkner, of the “Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung” (Saturday).

"Stephan Weil is responsible for the lack of agreement between the federal and state governments on how to break the third wave," said Green Party leader Julia Willie Hamburg in the same interview.

The Greens and the FDP disagreed when assessing closings of retail stores, schools, daycare centers and companies.

"We believe that only a short, really consistent lockdown helps to get better conditions," said Hamburg.

Birkner said that he did not believe in using all violence to get very low incidence values.

"I consider the demand to shut everything down now to be unjustifiable, especially since we don't even know exactly how the infection routes run."
