Flensburg (dpa) - The SG Flensburg-Handewitt has sovereignly recaptured the top of the table in the handball Bundesliga.
The team of coach Maik Machulla prevailed on Sunday afternoon against SC DHfK Leipzig with 29:23 (13: 8) and passed the north rivals THW Kiel again.
The Kiel had presented on Saturday evening with a 35:29 away win at TSV Hannover-Burgdorf.
The best thrower for Flensburg was the Swedish international Jim Gottfridsson with eight goals, for Leipzig Gregor Remke was the most successful with six goals.
Flensburg international Johannes Golla had missed parts of the game due to a foot injury, but was able to continue playing in the second half.
