Gelsenkirchen (AP) - Ralf Fährmann should get a regular place after his comeback in the goal of FC Schalke 04 in the season's final spurt.
"As of now, I am assuming that Ralle will continue to enjoy my trust as number one," said coach Dimitrios Grammozis on Sunday after the bottom of the Bundesliga table beat FC Augsburg 1-0 (1-0).
For the game, the 32-year-old ferryman had played for the first time under Grammozis instead of his rival Frederik Rönnow (28).
Ferryman had previously had to sit out for six weeks because of a broken rib.
The keeper had "presented himself very well since he was able to train again," Grammozis said before the kick-off on Sky TV.
