Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The footballers from Rot-Weiss Essen have expanded their famous home series in the Regionalliga West, but competitor Borussia Dortmund II at the top of the table shows no nerves in the promotion battle.

Even after the 35th matchday, the Esseners (69 points) only remain in second place with nine points behind BVB (78 points), who defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach II 4-1 (2-0).
