Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - A Chihuahua died in an accident with a bicycle in Stuttgart.
"During the overtaking process, the dog leash got caught in the bike, creating a strong pulling force on the dog collar," the police reported on Saturday.
A veterinarian could only determine the death of the dog.
The cyclist apologized to the 77-year-old dog owner and drove away.
The woman had been on a sidewalk and bike path on Friday evening.
According to the information, the cyclist was said to have been a young man.
