Berlin (dpa / bb) - When a bicycle collided with a motorcycle in Berlin-Friedenau, both drivers were seriously injured.

The 31-year-old cyclist and the 25-year-old motorcyclist were on the main street in the direction of Innsbrucker Platz on Friday evening, as the police announced on Saturday.

At the intersection with Stierstrasse, the cyclist turned left.

In the process, he collided with the motorcycle that drove to his left.

Both men fell.

The motorcyclist was treated with a broken arm and skin abrasions in a hospital.

The cyclist was also taken to a clinic with injuries to his trunk and hands.

The intersection of Hauptstraße / Stierstraße / Fregestraße remained closed for almost an hour.
