April 11, 2021 AstraZeneca "responded to the European Commission within the timeframe required by the dispute resolution mechanism and last week our team had a very cooperative meeting with the Commission".
Matthew Kent, director of media relations at AstraZeneca, assured this in an email.
The clarification comes after a European Commission spokesman on duty, Johannes Bahrke, said that the letter of formal notice sent by Brussels to the pharmaceutical company asking for delivery times to be respected had gone unanswered.
