Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The typical April weather of cold and warm days will continue in the coming week.

After up to 18 degrees on the weekend, the temperatures on Monday in the southwest should not exceed 10 degrees, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced.

Snow is therefore also possible in the mountains.

On the Swabian Alb it should only be up to one degree at the start of the week.

It should be the warmest with nine degrees on the Rhine.

During the night south of the Alb, snowfall is occasionally possible again.

Tuesday does not promise any improvement in the weather.

In the southeast, according to the DWD, there should first be snowfall, then at times snow and sleet showers.

With temperatures between three degrees on the heights of the Alb and ten degrees in the west of the country, it remains cool.

In the night on Wednesday it can be as cold as minus six degrees locally.

The DWD warned of the risk of icy roads due to freezing wetness in the coming days.
