According to reports, in the first quarter of 2021, the unified composite index of China's automobile industry was 111.17 (2010=100), a significant increase of 12.08 points compared with the fourth quarter of 2020.
In addition, the leading composite index is 90.67 (2010=100), an increase of 3.97 points from the fourth quarter of 2020.
According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, as a whole, the operation of China's automobile industry continued the upward trend this quarter and will continue to develop in the future.
At the same time, it should also be noted that the recent sharp increase in raw material prices will increase the cost pressures of manufacturing companies. On the other hand, the tight supply of chips and other parts will continue to affect the production rhythm of enterprises, and the impact is expected to be greater in the second quarter than in the first quarter. Therefore, we still need to maintain a cautiously optimistic attitude.
It is reported that China's auto industry prosperity index is composed of a consensus synthetic index and a leading synthetic index.
Among them, the consensus composite index represents the current operating conditions of the auto industry; the leading composite index represents the forecast before the operation of the auto industry changes.
