The king in front of condolences
Sweden's King Carl Gustaf has also made a statement in which he expresses his condolences to the British royal family and the people of Great Britain.
"The Queen and I have received with great sorrow the news of the passing of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh.
Prince Philip has for many years been a good friend of our family, a friendship that we have placed great value on ", writes King Carl Gustaf in the statement.
He also highlights the prince's efforts.
"His contribution to his country is an example for all of us"
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison praises the efforts of Australia, which is part of the British Commonwealth.
"He embodied a generation we will never see again," Scott Morrison wrote in a statement.
