“A special information resource will operate in Russia to help seriously ill children who need support from the Circle of Kindness Foundation.
The rules of its conduct, as well as the procedure for the procurement of medicines and medical devices for such patients, were approved by the government, ”the Cabinet of Ministers said in a statement.
This information resource will be included in the unified state information system in the field of health care, it will collect regional applications for medications, applications from parents, and a list of diseases that the Circle of Kindness Foundation works with.
The need for drugs for children with complex and rare diseases will be determined by the expert council of the Circle of Kindness fund on the basis of applications from the regions, and the Ministry of Health or its subordinate institutions, as well as the fund itself, will purchase them.
If the child is not on inpatient, but on outpatient treatment, parents will be able to get medicine for him in a medical organization or in a pharmacy with a free prescription.
In March, Mishustin approved the rules for granting a grant to the Circle of Kindness fund to support children with severe and rare diseases.
The Cabinet of Ministers will allocate 10 billion rubles for medicines for seriously ill children.
