Lübeck (dpa / lno) - On April 19, the renovation of Autobahn 1 in the direction of Fehmarn will begin between the Pansdorf and Neustadt Mitte junctions.
At the start of work, the Eutin junction on the opposite side will be partially closed.
Between April 19 and April 28, it would not be possible to drive onto the motorway in the direction of Lübeck, the Lübeck branch of the Federal Motorway GmbH announced on Friday.
According to a spokeswoman, a provisional driveway will be built during this time for the duration of the construction work.
The approaching traffic in the direction of Lübeck is diverted via the diversion route U102a to AS Scharbeutz.
Departing from the Eutin junction is still possible, said a spokeswoman.
The construction work is part of the fundamental renovation of the A1 to the north.
According to the information, the roadway to the north will be completely renewed over a length of 9.6 kilometers by December 2021.
In addition, new drainage in the median and new crash barriers are planned.
The construction costs are estimated at around 21 million euros.
