There were a record number of starters in the women's class when the Swedish Championships in snowboarding were decided in Kläppen on March 20.

Tova Nejne, competing for Klimpfjäll's alpine club, took home two silver medals in the branches big air and slopestyle.

The winner was Novalie Engholm who competes for HAK Freeride.

Now Tova Nejne has set her sights on the World Cup and the World Cup.

To get to the national team, she has to spin a little more and jump a little higher. 

- Right now I have the goal to develop in my riding and get out and compete outside Sweden.

Studying at the high school in Vännäs

Tova Nejne goes to snowboard high school in Vännäs.

She trains several times a week and it is always fun to go out on the slopes.

- I'm just stuck to the sport and I think it's fun to go, all the time!
