Saudi media said that the coalition destroyed an explosive drone launched by the Houthis towards Khamis Mushait, while the Houthis announced the bombing of Abha airport (southwestern Saudi Arabia) with a drone.
The Houthi’s military spokesman, Yahya Saree, stated that the Air Force carried out an attack on a "sensitive site" at Abha International Airport, with a "Qasef K2" drone.
Earlier yesterday, the Houthis said that they attacked with a drone aircraft the landfills of warplanes at Jizan Airport (southern Saudi Arabia).
Yahya Saree said on Twitter that the targeting came in response to the continuing "aggression and siege" on Yemen, indicating that the injury was accurate.
On the other hand, the Saudi Press Agency quoted the coalition as saying that an explosive drone launched by the Houthis towards Jizan was intercepted and destroyed.
The coalition added that the necessary measures are being taken to protect civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law.
