“We see that the price change was influenced by a complex of factors, among which one can single out the outflow of labor migrants, and the increase in prices for building materials, and the transition to project financing, and, of course, the epidemiological situation,” TASS comments.

At the same time, the government noted the different dynamics of changes in housing prices in the regions, which is due to the volume of supply on the market.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called on the FAS to pay attention to the rise in housing prices in the country.

In particular, he noted the dynamics in North Ossetia, where there was an increase of up to 30%.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service said they would check the validity of the rise in housing prices.

In January, the Izvestia newspaper wrote that primary housing in Russia in the IV quarter of 2020 increased in price by 19% compared to the same period in 2019.
