Hamburg (dpa / lno) - In the field hockey Bundesliga there are trend-setting games in the fight for the quarter-finals for the Hamburg men's teams at the weekend.

In the A group, the club on the Alster (4th / 31st) will face the Crefeld HTC (5th / 26th) on Saturday, who, however, played one less game than Hamburg.

The team of coach Sebastian Biederlack could get help from city rivals Uhlenhorster HC (2nd / 39th), who will receive the CHTC on Sunday.

The Harvestehuder THC (35) as third in the group can consolidate his place with a win against bottom group Großflottbeker THGC.

The men from the Hamburg Polo Club (3rd / 43rd) who have already qualified for the quarter-finals will face the Mannheimer HC (2nd / 46th) and the TSV Mannheim (5th / 15th) in the B season and can do so again Rely on defense specialist Tomas Prochazka.

In the women’s group B, the UHC (2nd) has a top duel with leaders Düsseldorfer HC.

Both clubs are already sure to participate in the quarter-finals.

Defending champion Club an der Alster (3rd), on the other hand, faces supposedly easy tasks with the games against the bottom of the group, Zehlendorfer Wespen and Großflottbeker THGC, but has little chance of improving to second place in the A-season.
