Saudi TV said that the Riyadh-led military coalition intercepted an explosive drone launched by the Houthis towards the city of Khamis Mushait, in the south of the Kingdom.

On the other hand, the Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV reported that "the droning air force targeted King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait with a drone."

The Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said on Twitter that the Houthis had targeted the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait with a drone, noting that the injury "was accurate."

He added that this targeting comes within the framework of the "legitimate and natural response to the continuation of the aggression and siege on Yemen."

The Houthi group had indicated that it had targeted the King Khalid Air Base on Tuesday, while the Saudi-Emirati military coalition confirmed that it had destroyed a Houthi drone that was targeting the Kingdom.

Recently, the coalition announced that it had repelled many Houthi attacks by booby-trapped drones and ballistic missiles on Saudi Arabia, and thwarted other attacks with booby-trapped boats, while the Houthis spoke of bombing military sites and oil installations in the Kingdom.
