Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Opponents of the corona measures want to take to the streets again in Stuttgart on April 17.

A corresponding event has been registered with the city, a spokeswoman said on Thursday.

"This is now being checked - taking into account the events of the past weekend."

Behind the new planned rally is an initiative called “Enough for us”.

In the state capital on Holy Saturday around 15,000 people, most of them without masks and minimum distance, had gathered and the city was in great need of explanations.

There were more than 1,000 police officers on duty.

However, they hardly intervened because of the violations of the corona rules.

Stuttgart's mayor Frank Nopper (CDU) had defended the city's permission for the demonstration.

It had been registered by the "lateral thinking" movement.

The organizers named “It's enough for us” last demonstrated on March 13th in Stuttgart.

At that time, the police had asked the participants to comply with the requirements.

The applicant then dissolved the event, as reported by the “Stuttgarter Zeitung” and “Stuttgarter Nachrichten”.

He did not justify this with the participants' lack of insight into wearing masks and keeping their distance, but with the bad weather.

The crowd then split up and moved into the city center in small groups.
