The updated situation in Italy and in the world
Today's data on the pandemic in Italy, provided by the Ministry of Health. Today there are 17,221 new cases with 362,162 swabs (4.75% positive index) and 487 victims. Yesterday there were 13,708 cases with 339,939 swabs and 627 victims (rate at 4%).
The currently positives in Italy are 544,330, down compared to yesterday by 3,507 cases. 3,060,411 were discharged and healed, an increase of 20,229 compared to 24 hours ago. The total death toll rises to 112,861. The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic in Italy is 3,717,602.
In Lombardy 2537 new positives and 130 victims
Against 54,280 swabs carried out, there are 2,537 new positives (4.6%) in Lombardy.
The healed / discharged are 2,705.
Today's data: 54,280 swabs performed (of which 36,447 molecular and 17,833 antigenic) overall total: 8,514,418;
the new positive cases: 2,537 (of which 145 'weakly positive');
total healed / discharged: 644,850 (+2,705), of which 5,276 discharged and 639,574 recovered;

In Puglia 1974 new cases and 51 deaths
Today in Puglia, compared to 14,895 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection, 1,974 positive cases have been recorded.
In addition, 51 deaths were recorded.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,963,363 tests have been carried out, 149,726 patients are cured and 50,755 are currently positive cases.
In Campania 1,933 new cases and 50 deaths
There are 1,933 new positives in Campania - and of these 1,361 are asymptomatic - compared to 21,180 molecular swabs performed (6,794 antigenic).
There are 50 deaths (32 in the last hours, 18 deaths previously but recorded yesterday) for a total that reaches 5,703.
The healed are 1,979.
The data was disclosed by the Regional Crisis Unit.
The number of intensive care beds occupied are 148 out of the 656 available;
those in hospital 1,605 out of 3,160.
In Piedmont 1,661 new infections and 23 deaths
Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region reported 1,661 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 124 after antigen tests), equal to 6.7% of the 24,811 swabs performed, of which 11,794 antigenic.
There are 23 deaths of positive people in the Covid-19 test reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 3 occurred today, for a total of 10,588.
There are 346 hospitalized in intensive care (- 11 compared to yesterday).
There are 3,800 inpatients not in intensive care (- 89 compared to yesterday).
There are 26,247 people in home isolation.
The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 3,919,917 (+24,811 compared to yesterday), of which 1,394,126 were negative.
Veneto, 1,241 infections and 24 deaths
The Veneto records 1,241 Covid infections in the last 24 hours, and 24 deaths.
The bulletin of the Region reports it.
The new positives are the result of the analysis of 44,878 swabs, equal to an incidence of 2.76%.
The total number of infected since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 392,294, that of victims to 10,861.
The number of currently positive subjects continues to drop, 34,139, and the pressure on hospitals is also lowering.
Covid patients hospitalized are a total of 2,268, -200 compared to the peak recorded on March 31 last, and 30 fewer compared to yesterday;
in particular, 1,947 (-28) are the beds occupied in non-critical wards, 321 (-2), those in intensive care.
Lazio, 1,240 new cases and 37 deaths
"Today on over 17 thousand swabs in Lazio (+3,681) and over 21 thousand antigenic for a total of over 38 thousand tests, there are 1,240 positive cases (+159), 37 deaths (-10) and +1,834 recovered cases. Cases are increasing while deaths and hospitalizations are decreasing and intensive care is stable. The ratio between positives and swabs is 7%, but if we also consider the antigenic the percentage is 3%. Cases in Rome city I'm at 500 ".
This was announced by the councilor for health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D'Amato.
In Tuscany 1,153 new cases and 20 deaths
There are 1,153 new Covid-19 cases recorded in the last twenty-four hours in Tuscany, leading to 28,203 (down 0.5 percent compared to yesterday) people currently positive for coronavirus.
The number of people cured increased (+ 0.8 percent, 1,282 in a single day) and reached 171,726 since the beginning of the epidemic, 83.6 percent of the 205,500 overall positive cases recorded.
In the hospital 1,992 are hospitalized, of which 285 in intensive care.
All the other patients, 26,211 (142 less than the day before, a decline of 0.5 percent), are isolated in cases.
Twenty deaths reported in the last twenty-four hours.
Emilia Romagna, 1,075 new cases and 25 deaths
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 346,820 positive cases have been recorded in the region, therefore 1,075 more cases in the last 24 hours, out of a total of 30,262 swabs performed in the last 24 hours.
There are 352 patients admitted to intensive care (-4 compared to yesterday), 3,051 those in the other Covid departments (-109).
Unfortunately, however, there are 25 new deaths.
In total, there have been 12,271 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
In the last 24 hours, 18,039 molecular swabs were performed, for a total of 4,102,303.
In addition, there are also 652 serological tests and 12,223 rapid swabs.
As for the total number of people healed, they are 1,162 more than yesterday and reach 265,694.
In Calabria 503 new infections and 11 deaths
In Calabria to date 648,897 subjects have been subjected to tests for a total of 691,819 swabs performed.
The people who tested positive for Coronavirus are 50,099 (+503 compared to yesterday), the negative ones 598,798.
These are the daily data relating to the Covid-19 epidemic communicated by the Health Protection Department, which record -1 intensive care, +146 recovered / discharged and 11 deaths.
Friuli Venezia Giulia, 457 cases and 29 deaths
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia out of a total of 13,064 tests carried out, 457 positivity to Covid-19 were found: 297 from 8,193 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 3.63%;
160 from 4,871 rapid antigenic tests (3.28%).
There are 22 registered deaths, to which 7 previous ones are added.
The admissions to intensive care units drop to 77 (-2) as well as those in other departments which are 554 (-30).
This was announced by the deputy governor of the Fvg with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The total deaths amounted to 3,453.
The totally healed are 80,332, the clinically healed 4,448, while the people in isolation today are 11,609.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 100,473 people have been positive.
Sardinia, 305 cases and 5 deaths
In Sardinia there are 305 new cases of Covid, bringing the total number to 47,935 since the beginning of the emergency.
The latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit reports another 5 deaths: the total number of victims thus rises to 1,255.
The positivity rate is 4.6%.
Hospitalizations are increasing In total, 1,049,497 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 6,598 tests compared to the previous figure.
There are 302 patients currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+8), while 49 (+2) patients are in intensive care.
There are 15,848 people in home isolation.
The healed are a total of 30,469 (+91), while the people declared clinically cured are 12.
In Abruzzo 277 new positives and 12 deaths
In Abruzzo there are 277 new positives to Covid19, 58 more than yesterday.
The death toll rises to 2,212 with another 12 deaths from coronavirus.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 67,155 positive cases of Covid 19 have been registered in the region, including 54,656 healed (375 more than yesterday).
Currently the positives are 10,287, compared to yesterday 110 less.
Since the start of the pandemic, 921,041 molecular swabs have been performed (4,334 more than yesterday) and 365,677 antigen tests (1,724 compared to yesterday).
585 are hospitalized in the medical area, 7 fewer than 24 hours ago.
There are 71 beds occupied in intensive care, one less than yesterday but with 3 new hospitalizations.
Another 9,631 people, 102 fewer than 24 hours ago, are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.
Umbria 172 new cases and seven deaths
Still a decline in Covid hospitalized in Umbria, today 338, 19 less than yesterday according to data from the Region.
On the other hand, patients in intensive care units rose from 42 to 44.
On the last day, 172 new positives were recorded, 290 recovered and seven deaths.
The current positives are now 4,334, 125 less than yesterday.
3,479 swabs and 4,923 antigen tests were analyzed.
The positivity rate is 2 per cent of the total (yesterday 1.38) and 4.9 per cent of the molecules alone (yesterday 3.5).
Basilicata, 169 new cases and 5 deaths
There are 169 new cases of Coronavirus in Basilicata, where 1,440 molecular swabs were processed.
Five people died.
On the other hand, 91 people have been healed.
With this update, the currently positive Lucanians are 4,742, of which 4,563 in home isolation.
14,644 people residing in Basilicata recovered from the beginning of the health emergency and 458 died.
179 people are currently hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals.
Trento: 1 death, 164 new infections
The anticovid vaccinations administered so far in Trentino have exceeded 110,000.
The data is confirmed by the daily bulletin of the provincial health services company which also gives an account of 1 new death at home.
The new infections intercepted by the tampons are instead 164. Another 385 recovered bring the total to 38,696.
In detail, out of 2,200 molecular swabs analyzed yesterday (1,376 at the Santa Chiara Hospital and 824 at Fem), 106 positive cases were identified, with the confirmation of 54 positivity intercepted in recent days by rapid tests.
1,278 antigenic rapid swabs revealed 58 new cases.
The situation of hospital admissions is improving: yesterday there were 24 discharges, while new arrivals stopped at 13. At the moment there are 203 hospitalized patients, of which 46 in resuscitation.
South Tyrol, 124 new cases and one death
In South Tyrol, 124 new cases of Covid-19 emerged yesterday out of 11,699 swabs processed.
In the last 24 hours a death has been recorded for an overall figure of 1,149 victims since the beginning of the pandemic.
The positivity is 76 out of 1,270 molecular swabs examined and 48 out of 10,429 on antigenic tests carried out.
Out of a total of 206,545 people subjected to molecular swab, 46,057 were positive.
There are 24,795 positive people on the antigen test.
The decline in Covid patients hospitalized in normal hospital wards continues slowly (today the figure is 74) but the number of patients requiring intensive care remains high, 24, two more than what was communicated yesterday.
Infected patients hospitalized in private facilities with agreements are 54 while those in isolation at the two specially set up centers are 64.
Valle d'Aosta, 3 deaths and 54 new positive cases
Three deaths and 54 new positive cases at Covid 19 in Valle d'Aosta which bring the overall total of patients affected by the virus from the beginning of the epidemic to 9870. The current positive cases are 1112, down by 61 units compared to yesterday, of which 59 hospitalized, 12 in intensive care, and 1041 in home isolation.

Compared to yesterday, the recovered have risen by 112 units to 8324 while the swabs carried out to date are 101,403, +958, of which 17,909 processed with rapid unhygienic tests.
In Valle d'Aosta the deaths of people who tested positive for Covid since the beginning of the emergency are 434.
