Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Offspring of a rare species of antelope in the Cologne Zoo: A male young animal has been born among the white-naped bog antelopes.
According to information on Thursday, the zoo has kept this species of swamp antelope, which originally came from Sudan, since 2019. A year ago there were offspring in Cologne.
In the wild, white-naped bog antelopes are considered threatened.
Adult animals can weigh up to 120 kilograms with a shoulder height of up to 105 centimeters.
