Zoom announced plans to serve clients in Russia and CIS countries

The company noted that "Zoom remains committed to serving customers in the Russian market and the CIS."

“While we are in the process of developing an approach in this region, current and new users in both the private and public sectors can look forward to gaining access to Zoom accounts directly through our website,” the company said.

On April 6, the IT Directorate of the Higher School of Economics reported that Zoom has restricted the use of its software for Russian companies with state participation.

At the same time, it was noted that the head office of Zoom Video Communications in the United States is clarifying data on the suspension of sales of the service to Russian government agencies.
