Ingolstadt (dpa / lby) - ERC Ingolstadt can continue to rely on the services of top scorer Wayne Simpson.
As the club from the German Ice Hockey League announced on Wednesday, the 31-year-old will also appear for the club beyond the current season.
The striker joined the Ingolstadt team in the summer of 2019 and came from the Rochester Americans in the lower class AHL.
Since then, the American Simpson has become a fixed point in the attack.
"His calm at the windscreen, the overview with which he acts, his acceleration and the speed he brings on the ice are absolutely top-class," said sporting director Larry Mitchell.
