The State Duma approved a draft amendment to the Criminal Code regarding the responsibility of doctors for the loss of drugs

According to RIA Novosti, changes are proposed to article 228.2 of the Criminal Code.

The draft provides for the introduction of an amendment, according to which the norms of the article "do not apply to cases of violation of the rules for the circulation of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances committed by negligence in the implementation of medical activities, if their loss did not harm the interests protected by criminal law, subject to the commission fixing the fact of loss in the manner established by the Ministry of Health of Russia in agreement with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia ”.

The draft law was submitted to the State Duma by the Russian government on March 1.

In this case, the fact of loss must be recorded by a special commission in the manner established by the Ministry of Health in agreement with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
