Judges afterwards

Helge Fossmo was also suspected of killing his first wife in 1999, but was acquitted.

In an interview on TV4 in 2006, he admitted his involvement in the Knutby drama.

The former pastor later claimed that Alexandra Fossmo's older sister, Åsa Waldau, also known as "Christ's bride", was involved in the murder, something that has not led to a police investigation.

Helge Fossmo has several times tried to get his sentence fixed.

In the autumn of 2017, it was decided that the life sentence would stand.

In February 2018, Fossmo appealed the decision to the Supreme Court - with the intention of having his sentence fixed.
