Wuppertal (dpa / lnw) - A burning pram in an apartment building in Wuppertal has triggered a rescue operation.
The firefighters took 17 residents out of the house on Tuesday afternoon, some with turntable ladders, as the police announced on Wednesday.
The residents were taken to hospital due to possible smoke inhalation.
The fire in the stairwell was quickly extinguished and the house could be re-entered after the extinguishing work.
According to the information, it could be arson.
The police are looking for witnesses.
