Fürth (dpa / lby) - Second division soccer team SpVgg Greuther Fürth has extended the contract with Julian Green by option until June 30, 2022.
The club announced on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old central midfielder has been with the game association since 2017.
So far this season, Green has been on the field in 23 of 27 games, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
«Julian has become an absolute cornerstone in our team.
He's an important part of our team structure not only on the pitch, but also off the pitch.
So there was no question for us that we would take the option, ”said Rachid Azzouzi, Managing Director Sport.
