At the county's three hospitals, the care places for people with covid-19 now need to be expanded, says Ninnie Borendal Wodlin, health care leader in regional special health care management:
- We are now waiting for what the hospitals themselves assess is a reasonable number of care places.

Many at IVA
In recent days, the number of patients in need of care has increased steadily in the hospitals in Östergötland.
On Wednesday, the region reports that 116 people are being cared for in hospital, of which 24 at IVA.
- It is a reflection of the widespread spread of infection in society and that we have not had the effect of the restrictions that we had hoped for.
