It was during a boat trip at Ragnabo Kårö outside Bergkvara just before Easter that John Rooth found a bottle post that he fished up.
Inside was a slightly used note that had the text "Ended up on a deserted island without snus for several days".
He posted pictures of the find on Facebook with an Easter greeting.

- I have found some bottle mail over the years when I took the boat. Most often it has been things from Öland that have floated ashore. Now I threw away this note because it smelled so rancid, but you wonder who sent it, of course, says John Rooth.
