Berlin (dpa / bb) - The Eisbären Berlin have celebrated another success in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) after the two clear defeats against EHC Red Bull Munich.

On Wednesday evening, the leaders of the northern group defeated the Schwenninger Wild Wings 6: 2 (2: 2, 2: 0, 2: 0).

Marcel Noebels, Lukas Reichel, Parker Tuomie, Jonas Müller, Zach Boychuk and Matt White ensured the well-deserved home win with their goals.

In the arena at the Ostbahnhof, the hosts got off to a great start.

National player Noebels met for an early lead and a little later prepared the Reichel goal in an exemplary manner.

But because the polar bears then made some negligence on the defensive, the Schwenninger were able to equalize before the first break with hits from Tylor Spink and Daniel Pfaffengut.

Even at the beginning of the second third, the Berliners were on target.

Tuomie and Müller again ensured a two-goal lead.

Goalie Tobias Ancicka prevented the guests from approaching again with a few good saves, before Boychuk and White ensured a clear success for the capitals with their goals in the final section.
