A total of 68,758 vaccine doses had been given by Region Sörmland on 6 April.
The hope is that this figure will now increase significantly as deliveries are expected to increase.
As of Wednesday, anyone born in 1954 and earlier can book an appointment for vaccination, previously the limit for Sörmlanders was at 1951.
