It was a fire brigade ambulance which sounded the alert after passing in front of the fire which broke out around 9 a.m. this Wednesday morning, in front of the Jacques Thibault conservatory in Bordeaux.
A small camp which had a few shelters made of pallets was set on fire without causing any injuries and the arsonist was arrested by the police.
"He was there and he recognized the facts," reports Olivier Cazaux, deputy mayor of the Bordeaux-Sud district.
The fire was quickly brought under control by the firefighters.
