Frankfurt / Main (dpa) - The negotiations between Eintracht Frankfurt and sports director Fredi Bobic (49) about an early termination of the contract, which runs until 2023, could be nearing the end, according to media information.
As the «Bild» reports, after the most recent difficult talks, both sides want to present a solution by the end of the week, at the latest after the Bundesliga game against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday.
According to the report, Eintracht have a “constructive result and a clean separation” from Bobic in their sights.
Therefore, according to information from the newspaper, both parties are currently approaching each other.
Eintracht should demand a million dollar transfer fee for Bobic, who should be drawn to Hertha BSC.
According to “Sport Bild” there are voices in the capital club who want to push the sum down.
Nevertheless, the Berliners would like to involve their former striker as the courted new managing director in the planning as soon as possible.
Bobic has been the sports director in Frankfurt since 2016.
