Zelensky called joining NATO a way to end the conflict in Donbass

In his opinion, NATO's presence in the Black Sea region should become "a powerful factor for containing Russia."

“We strive to reform our army and defense sector, but reforms alone cannot stop Russia.

NATO is the only way to end the war in Donbass, ”the press service of the office of the President of Ukraine quotes Zelensky as saying.

Earlier in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, after talks between the head of the department Andriy Taran and the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin, they said that the United States "will not allow the implementation of the aggressive aspirations of the Russian Federation towards Ukraine."

Later, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called talk about an alleged impending conflict between Russia and Ukraine as another fiction.

As stated in Moscow, Russia is not interested in any conflict with the Ukrainian side, especially in a military one.
