“Police officers detained a woman who was cooking on the Eternal Flame at the“ Grieving Mother ”memorial located in the center of Pushkino,” reads a statement from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
It is noted that the detainee is a resident of the city of Krasnoarmeisk, born in 1956.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the article on desecration of the burial places of the dead.
Earlier, the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region, Tatyana Petrova, said that law enforcement officers were looking for a woman who cooked food on the Eternal Flame in the Moscow Region.
